deep feels and fever dreams
By Áine Mac Giolla Bhríde in collaboration with Katie Watchorn

Specially commissioned smoked glass tumblers, hand engraved by the artist and produced in an edition of 40. Each glass was carefully selected and purchased from a second hand market in Berlin or a mountain house in Kirchen. The glasses were used to serve Old Fashioned cocktails and Pine Needle sodas in collaboration with Katie Watchorn on the occasion of Kunstverein Aughrim’s Winter Preview with Áine Mac Giolla Bhríde, as part of Mac Giolla Bhríde’s exhibition deep feels and fever dreams, December 2023–March 2024. Drinks accompanied readings from a variety of texts including extracts of writing by Francis Whorral-Campbell, Nathan O’Donnell, and Cameron Lynch among others.

Details: smoked glassware, dimensions variable. You can specify your choice of glass as a comment or via email, otherwise a glass will be selected for you.

Proceeds from sales are split with 75% going directly to the artist and 25% to Palestine Red Crescent Society.
