Getting Here

Aughrim is around 70 km from Dublin City Centre. Public transport options for getting here are limited, but it is possible to take a train from Dublin or Rosslare (timetable) to Rathdrum Train Station whereupon collection by car can be arranged. If you are coming from Arklow or Carlow, it is possible to take a local link bus directly to Aughrim (timetable).

Opening Hours

We are currently open to visitors by appointment from 10am – 5pm Thursday to Sunday. Please contact should you wish to schedule a visit.

Kunstverein Aughrim is not currently wheelchair accessible due to a series of concrete and stone steps that impede wheelchair entry at the threshold of the building.  We are working towards a long term solution to this problem as part of our project Suppose a Stone

Kunstverein Aughrim is a members based organisation. For more information on how to become a member please email
